I'm Amy Golden! I was born and raised in Texas, so Whataburger and good queso runs in my veins. I grew up in Hutto and was obsessed with art and music.
After working for 10 years in the hospital administration field, I became a mom to two awesome boys, and it has been a pleasure watching them grow. As they have gotten older, I’ve felt the pull to get back to art. I grew up watching my mom and grandpa take pictures, and have always loved pouring over those captured memories.
So, in 2020 (crazy year for us all!), I took the plunge, bought a camera, and forced myself to learn it! I was able to hone my craft by going around my neighborhood taking family ‘Porchraits’ during quarantine. Those contacts have turned into friends, and it has snowballed since then. To say i've loved capturing and editing every single moment, would be an understatement. I’ve stayed pretty busy, and I would like to think that’s because my clients love their images and the experience.
As they say, “that was that.” I found my passion. This photography journey has been one of the best decision of my life. I’m still having a blast and I have zero plans of putting my camera down any time soon.

I WAS BORN AT HOME IN ABILENE, TX ON MY MOM'S BED. MY DAD CAUGHT ME.
I HAVE TWO WILD, AND CRAZY LITTLE BOYS THAT ARE ALMOST EXACTLY ONE YEAR APART.
I'M OBSESSED WITH WILDFLOWERS! I NEARLY RUN OFF THE ROAD BECAUSE I CAN'T TAKE MY EYES OFF THEIR BEAUTY ON THE SIDE OF THE HIGHWAY.
I LOVE FLYING AND THE WHOLE AIRPORT EXPERIENCE. I CONSIDER IT PART OF MY VACATION.
I LOVE WRAPPING PRESENTS AND COORDINATING colors and patterns, PAPER WITH RIBBONS AND BOWS. I GET EXCITED WHEN I SEE A BIG PILE OF PRESENTS TO WRAP.
I LOVE PUTTING IKEA FURNITURE TOGETHER.

I could not have been more pleased with the outcome of our session. We wanted photos for our wedding website and got so much more than we hoped for. Amy was amazing with getting the kids to cooperate and made it a fun experience for everyone. She will be my go to for future photography needs.

First of all, let's start out with my kids are hard to shoot. They have a lot of energy and sitting still is not a thing. Thankfully Amy is a miracle worker and was able to snap beautiful smiles of them and even a family photo. she was a joy to work with and i would highly recommend her.
